Helping couples reconnect and rediscover the love they once shared is my greatest passion. I know how painful it can be when communication breaks down, leaving you feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or even hopeless. But I also know that with the right support, relationships can heal — and become stronger than ever.

A Personal Story

My passion for this work is also deeply personal.

My husband and I went through EFT ourselves. The experience was truly transformational — and it inspired me to dedicate my career to helping other couples find that same healing and connection.

What I love about this work

The work I do with couples is the most fulfilling part of my practice.

As a couples therapist, I’ve had the privilege of guiding many partners through the transformative process of moving from frustration and distance to trust, intimacy, and deeper emotional closeness. There is nothing more fulfilling than helping couples break free from negative patterns and learn how to truly show up for each other in new, meaningful ways.

Seeing couples replace frustration with understanding, and distance with intimacy, is one of the most rewarding parts of my practice.

“Even small shifts in understanding and connection can lead to profound changes in a relationship.”

Why EFT — personally

I’ve been blessed with four children, a supportive husband, and all the roadblocks most couples face.

Like many couples, my husband and I have faced our share of roadblocks along the way. Despite our love and commitment, we often struggled to communicate in the ways we both needed — leaving us feeling disconnected at times. Determined to strengthen our relationship, we sought out EFT counseling.

The process was not always easy. It challenged us to confront difficult emotions, unlearn old patterns, and develop a deeper understanding of each other. But through EFT, we were able to work through the roadblocks that had been keeping us apart and build a relationship rooted in trust, support, and emotional intimacy. That experience is what inspired me to dedicate my professional career to helping other couples find the same healing and connection.

Beyond couples work

I also work with individuals — especially around anxiety, food, and the body.

In addition to my work with couples, I have extensive experience helping individuals overcome a variety of mental health challenges. After earning my Master’s in Social Work from Long Island University, I expanded my practice into areas such as disordered eating, body image issues, and individuals’ relationships with food.

My training in Rewiring the Anxious Brain has also allowed me to help clients break free from patterns of anxiety and lead more balanced, fulfilling lives.

A bit more personal

Four kids, a candy business, and a deep love of getting outside.

I have been blessed with four wonderful children, including a set of twins — the youngest two. Life with twins is certainly a handful, but it is also a joy. I am incredibly grateful for my supportive husband, and for the work we have done together to get through the real roadblocks every long relationship faces.

New places, near and far, worth getting out into

When I am not working, I love exploring new places and immersing myself in nature — whether that is traveling to new countries or finding local adventures. Creativity is another passion of mine. I run a kosher candy business where I create beautifully crafted platters of candy, chocolate, nuts, and dried fruit for special occasions.

“I enjoy being spontaneous, making fun memories with my kids, and cherishing the little moments that make life special.”

— Shoshana

That same appreciation for the small, careful, creative moments is a big part of how I show up in the therapy room, too.

Experience & credentials

Training, experience, and a belief in healing.

My clinical training grounds the work, but what keeps me in it is the belief — grounded in both research and my own life — that even small shifts in understanding and connection can lead to profound changes in a relationship.
