Therapist Support Group
Denver therapists: We would like to invite you to join our peer led therapist support group. Being a therapist is hard work, and it can be lonely at times, so the intent of this group is to provide a space to process the difficulties of the job, celebrate your wins, and create community and connection. Please note that this is a process group (not supervision/nor a therapy group).
This group meets the second Tuesday of every month at 4PM. Currently, we meet outside at Paco Sanchez Park. When the weather changes, the website will be updated with our new location. We will be gathering in the green grass, next to the river, down the hill from the corner of 12th and Julian. Please park along 12th at the corner of Julian for easiest access to the area of the park that we will meet in.
The cost of the group is $18 per session. The price has intentionally been set at an affordable rate to make this group accessible. I really want to provide a service to therapists who are seeking community and support that won’t break the bank. If $18 is not affordable, please let me know – I’d rather have you come for free than not come at all.
Each week, Kate will intentionally open the group with a meditation or similar exercise, facilitate the discussion, then close the circle; the topic/discussion will be co-created by the group.
All are welcome here. (If there is anything that prohibits you from getting down a hill in a park, please let me know and I will change the location).
The group will be limited to 8 people, so please reserve your spot early if you’d like to attend.
